We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with extensive content marketing and social media marketing experience to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Bookedin’s brand story and driving customer growth through compelling content and innovative digital marketing campaigns. In order to thrive in this role, you must be highly self-motivated, results-driven and well organized. You will have a lot of autonomy and will be expected to deliver results quickly. This is a remote, full time position.
You will be responsible for:
- Core responsibility: Developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies with a strong focus on content and social media marketing: This includes overseeing all aspects of our online marketing efforts, including content marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.
- Leading content strategy and creation: Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content across all channels, including blog posts, articles, white papers, social media updates, videos, infographics, and email newsletters.
- Managing social media presence: Develop and execute effective social media strategies across all major platforms, including organic and paid campaigns, to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform our digital marketing strategy and ensure we maintain a competitive edge.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs): Monitor website traffic, social media engagement, campaign performance, and other relevant metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report to the CEO on the ROI of our digital marketing efforts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the sales, product, and design teams to produce impactful content and ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
You will NOT be responsible for:
- Video editing and production. We have people for this.
- Implementing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns. We have people for this. However, you should understand paid ad strategies and be able to advise on tactics, keywords and targeting.
- Managing sales and lead conversion. We have people for this.
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on content marketing and social media marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content in a variety of formats, including social media, blog, and email.
- Experience using AI writing tools like Jasper, ChatGPT, and Gemini to generate content ideas and accelerate the writing process.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, paid advertising platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles and best practices, as well as social media optimization (SMO) and video distribution strategies.
- Experience with influencer marketing is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

Bookedin is an award-winning online booking software, empowering small businesses to streamline their appointment booking process and connect with customers effortlessly. We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team and take our content strategy to the next level. This is a remote, full time position.
You will be responsible for:
- Core responsibility: creating and distributing content that drives brand awareness, leads and customer engagement.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with Bookedin’s overall business goals, with a focus on social media, blog, video distribution, and email marketing.
- Conducting thorough audience research to understand target customer needs and preferences, including their social media, content consumption, and email engagement habits.
- Creating high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, website copy, email marketing campaigns, social media content, and targeted email nurture campaigns.
- Developing and implementing effective video distribution strategies.
- Managing and maintaining an editorial calendar, ensuring content is published consistently and deadlines are met.
- Collaborating with designers, developers, and internal teams to produce impactful content, including social media assets, video distribution plans, and email templates.
- Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic and brand visibility, while also considering social media optimization (SMO).
- Analyzing website traffic and content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel to monitor success and identify areas for improvement.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest content marketing trends and best practices, including social media trends, algorithms, video distribution strategies, and email marketing techniques.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting to the CEO on the success of content marketing initiatives.

- Ad campaigns. We have people for this.
- Cold email marketing.
About you:
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns including video distribution.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content in a variety of formats, including social media, blog, and email.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices, as well as social media optimization (SMO).
- Experience with AI writing tools (ex. Jasper, ChatGPT, Gemini) and content management systems (CMS) a plus.
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and best practices, as well as video distribution strategies and email marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
