How Bookedin’s Class Scheduling Works

Getting started with class scheduling is quick and straightforward with Bookedin. If you’re brand new to Bookedin, you’ll start by setting up your account. If you already have one, you can skip ahead and jump straight to creating your first class or workshop. And if you are not into reading, we have prepared a full tutorial for you. 

Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign up for a new Bookedin account and enter your business details. Add your name, contact information, and business hours so your schedule is accurate from day one. 

This step is important so you can set clear expectations and boundaries with your customers. Trust us, it will protect your sanity — but don’t just take our word for it. Listen to Eddie, who is casually golfing instead of doing boring admin work.

Step 2: Choose Your Scheduling Type

When prompted, select your scheduling type. Choose between Classes/Workshops, a combo of Classes/Workshops and Appointments, and Appointments only (in which case, why are you reading this?). 

Don’t worry, you can always switch if you decide to add new services.

Step 3: Create Your First Class

You’ll see a sample class in your account to give you an idea of how it works. Simply delete it and create your own. Input the name of your class (e.g., “Yoga for Beginners” or “Bootcamp”) and set the duration. 

You can also add the price if you want to collect payments online and/or you want to avoid awkward payment conversations.

Step 4: Add Class Sessions

Next, set up the specific days and times your class runs. You can make it recurring, like every Tuesday at 6:00 PM. 

Also, you can assign an instructor and set the maximum number of attendees.Then, set advanced booking rules like lead time (to block last-minute signups). 

Repeat this process for each session you want to offer.

Step 5: Customize Your Booking Page

Your booking page is what clients see, so make it feel like yours. Upload your logo, choose a color scheme, and give it a polished look that matches your brand. With just a few clicks, your page is ready to go live!

Step 6: Share Your Booking Link

Finally, share your booking page with clients. Post the link on your website, add it to your social media profiles, or send it directly by email or text. From there, clients can book themselves in seconds — no phone calls, no back-and-forth messages.

Once you start receiving bookings, clients will receive instant confirmations and multiple reminders, while you will get notified of every booking. Your class roster stays up to date automatically, saving you hours of admin work each week.
