Just launched: Text Message Reminders
Text reminders have arrived
Now BookedIN can send text message reminders to your clients! This means you’ll have fewer no-shows, more appointments confirmed, happier, more organized clients, and fewer scheduling hassles overall.
How do text reminders work?
Your clients are going to love receiving a quick and friendly text from BookedIN. The best part is, they’ll be able to confirm, cancel, or reschedule their appointment by replying directly to the text. 👏
Whenever you or your clients book an appointment via BookedIN, simply include a valid mobile phone number in the booking form. Once booked, clients will automatically receive two reminder text messages: the first one will send a few days prior to the appointment, then a second one a few hours prior.
Note: Text reminders are only available in Canada 🇨🇦 & USA 🇺🇸.
If you’re a long-time bookedIN user, heads up…
You’re going to need to do a tiny bit of leg-work. To activate texts for your existing appointments, sign in to the web or mobile app, then tag your client’s phone # as “mobile”. This will activate text messaging for that client. Steps to set this up here.
You’ll also need to update the bookedIN iPhone or Android app to version 1.1.0. 📲
Also, is you feel like getting fancy, there’s an optional setting that lets you control which day the first reminder fires out. Instructions for adjusting that here.
